So what even is Cheese club? Club sponsor Charlie Strader called it “the hottest new club,” and according to the student who started the club, senior Astrid Zimmerman, it’s a club to celebrate everyone’s love of cheese, to learn about cheese, of course, and to eat cheese.

Cheese club meets every Monday at lunch in room 2315, if you’re interested in joining. Strader says “All are welcome” — all you have to do to join is show up. 

There are many reasons to come to Cheese club, Zimmerman said, including getting to eat cheese with friends and to learn about different kinds of cheese.

“And we live in Wisconsin! You have to show some patriotism,” Zimmerman said.
