Juniors across the country will be taking the ACT soon, hoping to score high enough to land that college acceptance or scholarship. For East, that day is March 11.
The test on March 11 is free, but after that, any students wishing to take it again in hopes of a higher score will have to pay $65-90 each time.
On the day of the test, there will also be a pancake breakfast from 7:30-8 a.m. Juniors should check their email by Monday, March 10 for their testing room assignment.
Juniors should note that a photo ID is required to be admitted to the test room, and they will have to turn in their phone at the start of the test, and will get it back at the end.
Testing will conclude sometime between 1-2 p.m. Students with extended time accommodations may finish later, but will be done by 3:25 p.m, according to Assistant Principal AJ Simonini.
Senior Levi Eberly suggested students use an ACT booklet to prepare and to take a pre-act test about 2-3 weeks before the test.
