Chess Club takes home the hardware

Club president, senior Astrid Zimmerman holds a tub of cheese for senior Sam Strawser to spread on his cracker during an Oct. 7 meeting of Cheese Club. Seniors Eve Banschbach and Evelyn Grimm wait their turn for a treat. Strawser brought in one of his favorite cheeses, Sartori Garlic & Herb Bellavitano Dip to share for the club. “It just goes so hard,” Strawser said. “It’s amazing.” Zimmerman pays for most of the cheeses herself, and is looking for donations to continue to fund future cheese purchases for the club.
