With Spirit Week right around the corner, we caught up with a few freshman at East to ask them what they’re most excited about for their first East High Homecoming.

- Monday: PJ Day
- Tuesday: Twin Day
- Wednesday: Dress Like Your Kindergarten Self
- Thursday: Character Day
- Friday: Purgolder Spirit Day
Homecoming Dance
Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 8:00-10:30pm at East High School

Theme: Masquerade (any masks must be handheld)

Tickets will be sold for $5 during lunch in the Mall Monday, October 2nd – Thursday, October 5th.

In order to buy a ticket students will need to have their school issued student ID and must present an ID for entrance to the dance.

No entry after 9:00pm.

No re-entry after leaving.

MMSD reserves the right, based on reasonable suspicion of drug or alcohol use at dance, to have students tested and be subject to appropriate school and/or legal consequences.

One guest is allowed per student.

Guest Permission Slips (available in Neighborhood Offices beginning Thursday, September 28th) must be approved by an East principal prior to purchasing a ticket, NO permission slips will be accepted at the door.

Please scan and email completed Guest Permission Slips to your Neighborhood Principal or turn completed forms in to the Yahara Neighborhood Office to Ms. Nevel in Room 3315 by Wednesday, October 4th, 2023 at 4:00pm.

Once a Guest Permission Slip is on file, guest tickets can be purchased in the Yahara Office (Rm 3315) during lunch Monday, October 2nd through Thursday, October 5th.

The age limit for guests is 19 (or legal spouse). No middle school students allowed.

All students (including guests) must bring current school photo ID (or other photo ID if post-high school).
