Sophomore Wordle

We asked about 50 sophomores in Chemistry teacher Katie Karlin’s classes, “What is East’s greatest strength?” and “What makes you unique?” to create this Wordle of Peppy.

In an attempt to capture the essence that East High School gives off to our students, we designed a Wordle from student’s answers to several questions. In December, we asked about 50 sophomores in Chemistry teacher Katie Karlin’s classes, “What is East’s greatest strength?” and “What makes you unique?” and to answer in one word. The words that showed up larger than others, are the ones that our students answered the most. Overall, we learned that – to those sophomores – our school represents diversity, community, pride and student spirit. The background is a silhouette of our own mascot Peppy the Purgolder.
