When taking this photo, I had to be still. Waiting for the perfect lighting. Everything was calm, and the piece of ceramic art was not moving so I was at an advantage. This piece was beautifully sculpted and glazed, you can see the emotion put into it. I had pressure to capture it as it was. The easiest part was taking the photo. The most difficult part was probably positioning the other ceramic pieces in the background to get the perfect picture. (Savannah Hill)

Taking photos for the dance team was very different from taking photos of student art. The main reason why it was so different was because of movement. My subjects were always moving, in a different spot, with different lighting. The easiest thing about taking photos of the dance team, was that no matter where you were, you were getting some kind of action photo. I’d say the hardest thing was keeping the camera focused and getting the right kind of lighting because the girls were often times in a gymnasium with not the best kind of light. My heart was always beating heavy, and my nerves ran quite high with the hopes of getting the perfect photo.
